The Office of Inclusive Excellence will offer Diversity.Edu for Students. The course is an online and interactive course module that is research based and teaches students about concepts and skills in areas of language, behavior, and the impact of microaggression and implicit bias, as well as much more. Students will learn how they contribute to a welcoming, inclusive, and safe university campus. The goal of the program is to help students connect to the Gonzaga University Mission and develop, as leaders for the common good in an inclusive world.
Personal Skills for a Diverse Campus for Students is a program that is not prescriptive of behaviors or attitudes. Instead, the program is intended to help students develop common language and understanding of diversity, equity concepts, understand the research and develop research-based skills.
