Mail Services FAQs

No, you do not have to reapply for a new mailbox. You will have the same MSC number until you graduate.

Yes. Just log into MyGU, navigate to the Mail Services page, and click the Forward Mail link (located on the right side menu). We are only able to forward USPS First Class mail, which does not include bulk mail, periodicals (newspapers, magazines etc.) or items from private carriers (UPS, FedEx etc.). Make sure to update your address information with banks, periodicals, and online shipping orders to receive mail at the desired address.

We are unable to offer curbside pick-up and delivery to dorms/campus housing. All mail must be picked up at Mail Services during business hours (Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm) throughout the Academic Year.

Academic Year: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Summer and Winter Break: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm

We are closed on all GU observed holidays and on the weekends, with the exception of move-in weekend.

Yes. If you are shipping anything over 16 ounces please fill out a customs form here and print it out before arriving at the mail room. If it is 16 ounces or less (non-negotiable documents or correspondence only) you do not need to fill out a customs form.

We are located on the South side of the BARC at 817 E Desmet Ave.
Once you are sure you will no longer be receiving mail at Gonzaga, you can close your mailbox by clicking Close Mailbox. You must first be logged into myGU to complete the form.

You can request a mailbox by logging into my.GU and submitting a request form to Mail Services.

You will receive an email from Gonzaga Mail Services indicating that your packages/mail are ready for pick-up. The email will state the location of where the items need to be picked up from (windows, Blue Locker Bank, or White Locker Bank).

Please note: An email from Amazon, or other companies/carriers, does not mean we have received or processed your package yet. It usually means the item(s) have arrived in Spokane and we should receive them the next day.

You can start sending packages to GU, as soon as you receive your MSC# from Mail Services.
