Mission of the Sacred Heart, Cataldo, Idaho
- 300 people per retreat
- Route 11 miles
Pilgrimage is the only Gonzaga retreat open to all members of the Gonzaga community, staff, faculty parents, and alumni. Whether you've never been on Pilgrimage or wish to experience it again, this is the opportunity to make this outdoor, spiritual journey and discover Gonzaga's Jesuit heritage of faith and justice. The route is 11 miles through the beautiful North Idaho wilderness with frequent quiet time to reflect on prayers and blessings. The journey ends at the historic Mission of the Sacred Heart in Cataldo, Idaho, where participants will join members of the Coeur d' Alene Tribe, Gonzaga Jesuits and priests for a catered lunch, followed by the celebration of the Eucharist.
Don’t miss this chance to explore the scenic Idaho wilderness, meet new people, take a break from daily campus life and discover Gonzaga’s Jesuit heritage of faith and justice.
Alumni, faculty and staff are welcome to forgo the hike/retreat by welcoming pilgrims to the mission at approximately 1:00pm, then join for lunch and Mass. Please register for this option by contacting Jeff Brogan at email@example.com. (There is no $15.00 fee for this option.)
