Christian Life Communities (CLC's)
Embody the mission
Christian Life Community (CLC) is a community that helps one another discover our personal vocations. We meet weekly in small groups of 6 to 10 members to pray, reflect, and discuss issues of life and faith. We also gather regularly for large group activities; social events, conversations and prayers, and service projects.
We follow the inspiration of St. Ignatius of Loyola, founder of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits). As with Ignatius, we strive to go deeper in our relationship with Christ, find God in all things, and discover our callings through an integrated way of life rooted in community, spirituality, and service. We share this vision with members of CLC's in almost 60 countries around the world. Thus, we are part of a worldwide body of small faith communities.
Here are some questions for reflection in considering joining CLC:
- form long-lasting friendships?
- grow in your journey of faith?
- share your faith and what is going on in your life with other students?
- deepen your relationship with God?
- discover your passions and calling in life through service?
If you have answereed "yes" to any of these questions, then CLC in for YOU! Come, check us out! All are WELCOME! If you are interested, please contact Rev. Janeen Steer at the University Ministry Office. 509-313-4258, firstname.lastname@example.org or fill out the CLC registration form on the main University Ministry website.
