The University believes that employees under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs while on the job are not capable of fulfilling their job requirements. Therefore, employees who report to work under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol may be subject to Corrective Action, including immediate dismissal. Employees with alcohol or drug-related problems may consult Human Resources and/or their immediate supervisors for treatment options or initiate individual action to solve the problem.
