This manual is considered one document and is divided into two sections for easy reference:
Main Manual - the Main Manual, Sections I - VIII, pages 1 through 28 describes personnel policies and procedures that arise most frequently. Policies with expanded explanations in the appendices have a bold Appendix notation after them.
Appendix - Appendices 1-29, pages A-1 through A-82, contain more detailed explanations and implementation procedures for policies in the Main Manual as well as additional policies approved by the Board of Trustees.
Some policies are in the Appendix only and are not detailed in the Main Manual. These policies are noted by a ** in the Table of Contents.
Both the Main Manual and the Appendix have equal force and effect.
