Developing Intercultural Competence

Learn how to make diversity a resource that enhances creativity, effectiveness and educational excellence among faculty, staff and students. The intercultural approach outlines the process for development of personal and organizational intercultural competence - the ability to relate effectively to people who are culturally different from oneself.  This approach focuses on what to do, rather than what not to do.  Participants leave with an understanding of the stages of development of intercultural sensitivity and competence.
