Preview Days

Gonzaga University Preview Days provide prospective students the opportunity to spend an entire day on campus while getting to know the Admission staff, current GU students, and Gonzaga faculty.  Scheduled events last from 9:00 am-2:00 pm, at which time students are able to sign up for Admission Interviews or visit a variety of open offices around campus.


To register for a Preview Day, please fill out the Schedule a Visit form. Select the date of the Preview Day you would like to sign up for and put Preview Day in the comments section. Be sure to include the number of people in your party! The Visit Office staff requests a notice of at least two weeks for Preview Day registration, especially for Preview Days in March and April!

Below is a list of the activities available to students and their families on GU Preview Days:

Breakfast and Opening Remarks - A continental breakfast is served. Keynote Speakers may include David Lindsay, Director of Student Activities; Julie McCulloh, Dean of Admission.

Interactive Student Panel (Prospective Students) - Students will meet and interview Gonzaga Student Ambassadors. This is a Q & A period where prospective students can get a sense for the opportunities that Gonzaga offers by speaking with current GU students.

Financial Aid Information Session (Parents and Family Members) - Parents and/or family members will have the opportunity to sit in on an information session with a representative from the Financial Aid Office as well as with the Dean of Admission.

Campus Tour - Gonzaga Ambassadors and Admission Counselors will take students and their families on a walking tour of Gonzaga's campus.

Lunch - After the student and parent breakout sessions a catered lunch will be served for Preview Day visitors. Gonzaga Student Ambassadors and Admission Counselors are seated at each table to answer questions and talk about life at GU.

Academic Information Session - Following lunch, students and their families will attend an information session in their area of academic interest. Options usually include Arts & Sciences, Business, Education, Engineering, Human Physiology, Health sciences/Pre-Med, and Nursing. If students are undecided, they may choose to attend any session.

Optional Admission Interview - At the day's end, students and their families are welcome to drop into the Admission Office to meet with an Admission Counselor. Any remaining questions may be answered at this time.
