Gonzaga welcomes the experience and diversity that you, our transfer students, bring to the academic community. We'd like to make your transition as smooth as possible, so here's some helpful information up front.

You are welcome to transfer a maximum of 64 semester (96 quarter) credits from a community college. We recognize the Associate of Arts and the Associate of Science transfer degrees from Washington community colleges and North Idaho College. You must complete your final 30 semester credits at Gonzaga (128 semester credits are needed for graduation).

The application process is different for you than it is for first-time students. Our transfer specialists, Helen Nahoopii and Joan Sarles, are available to answer all of your questions. Please contact Helen at nahoopii@gonzaga.edu or (800) 986-9585, ext. 6579; and Joan at sarles@gonzaga.edu or (800) 986-9585, ext. 6571.

We've also created a Transfer Guide to help you with the logistics.

Here's what you need to do:

  1. Complete the Application for Admission ONLINE or print a PAPER VERSION and complete parts 1, 2, 3 and 4.

  2. Submit official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions. Note: if you have not completed at least 30 semester or 45 quarter credits of transferable work, please submit a final high school transcript and scores from either the SAT I or ACT (if under 21 years of age).

  3. Submit a $50 non-refundable application fee. Applicants utilizing Gonzaga's online application have the option of paying their fee online (by e-check or credit card) once the application has been submitted. Applicants utilizing Gonzaga's paper application can either mail a check payable to Gonzaga University (see address below) or call the Office of Admission at (800) 322-2584 to pay the application fee with a credit card.

Deadlines:
If you are applying for fall semester, please submit all of the required materials by the deadline of June 1.
