My favorite college memory:
I was a member of the HPIC Club (Hawaii Pacific Islanders Club) for 4 years. In my senior year, we decided to give the GU community a glimpse of Hawaiian history at the annual lu'au. Kumu hula, John Lake, a renowned hula master, graciously flew to Spokane from Hawaii to help the club with proper protocol and dance. There was an intense energy in the air that evening...it was an AMAZING lu'au!
