Life ambition:
To live life passionately and see the best in everyone.
Be sure that your essay reflects the amazing and intelligent person that you are!
Favorite place on campus:
The Jundt Art Museum atrium with the red, blown-glass chandelier by Dale Chihuly.
Advice during the college search:
Find a school that fits your personality and is best for YOU, not your parents, not your best friend, not anyone but you.
When you visit Spokane:
Try out The Elk or Pacific Ave. Pizza in Brown's Addition for a great meal! Also, you have to go to Riverfront Park and find the goat that eats trash!
In 30 words or less:
If you have the opportunity to study abroad...do it! I went to London for a semester during my junior year and it was an incredible experience.
Book you couldn't put down:
Angels and Demons, by Dan Brown...oh, and of course all of the Harry Potter books!
Favorite class at Gonzaga:
PR Campaign, Television Production, and Principles of Christian Morality
Professors who had the greatest impact:
John Hofland, Dan Garrity, Fr. Hartin, and Erin Dorsey
You would never know that...
during my sophomore and junior year of college I was Spike, the mascot for Gonzaga. GO ZAGS!!!
Favorite college memory:
It was Halloween my freshman year; my roommate and I had found these great bumble bee costumes at The Dollar Store. Unfortunately, it snowed on Halloween and we were freezing, but we still had so much fun buzzing over to the COG (dining hall) to have late-night dinner after filling up on candy first.
Final advice for college-bound students:
Find a balance during your senior year. Have tons of fun, but also stay focused. It is hard to be motivated when you're almost finished, but in the end it is SO worth it.
