Advice during the college search:
Be organized--create a spreadsheet where you can store deadlines and information for each school.  Apply to all of your colleges early and apply for every scholarship for which you qualify. Finally, VISIT, VISIT, VISIT as many of your possible choices as you can. Go with your gut and enjoy the ride!
