PsycCRITIQUES Database Info
The American Psychological Association (APA) produces the PsycCRITIQUES database, an electronic book review serial which features full text reviews of current scholarly and professional books in the field of psychology. Also included in the database are reviews of popular films and trade books from a psychological point of view. The database houses almost 40,000 searchable reviews spanning from 1956 to the present.
PsycCRITIQUES allows users to limit their searches with specialized categories, including Age Groups, Population Group (including Animal), Classification Codes, Document Type, and more.
