Physical Review Online Archive (PROLA) Info
This database is the American Physical Society's online archive for the journals Physical Review Letters, Reviews of Modern Physics, and Physical Review A-E. All APS journal titles published from 1893-2004 are included in PROLA, with a new year added to the archive each January.
Users can search for articles at the Article Lookup tab by citation or DOI. The Journal Search tab allows users to look up specific journals by title, or to search for journals based on authors that have published in the journal, by affiliation, and more. PROLA also has a Site Search tab that conducts a full text keyword search on the entire PROLA website.
Note: PROLA is accessible on the open web at http://prola.aps.org/, where searches of the indexing and abstracts from the database are free. However, if users wish to access full text from the database, they must enter PROLA from the link on the Foley Database website.
