Middle Search Plus Database info
Middle Search Plus is a database designed for middle school students. It contains full text for over 140 popular middle school magazines, and all full text articles are assigned a reading level indicator (Lexiles). There are also thousands of full text biographies and historical essays. Primary source documents are also included, such as Essential Documents in American History. Reference resources are also available, including the Funk & Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia, American Heritage Dictionary, and the Encyclopedia of Animals. The database also provides access to over 285,000 photos, maps, and flags in the Image Collection.
