ARTICLEFIRST DATABASE INFORMATION

ArticleFirst is not a full text database, but instead is a very comprehensive index of articles, news stories, letters, and other items from journals.  ArticleFirst is a database from OCLC, an organization that indexes the holdings of libraries worldwide.  So, while ArticleFirst won’t give you immediate full text access, it does provide information on exactly where to find articles (and provides easy links for requesting articles through interlibrary loan). 

ArticleFirst provides bibliographic information from over 19,600,000 documents from over 16,000 sources.  This database covers articles from 1990 to the present, and is updated with new entries daily.  ArticleFirst indexes a wide variety of articles relating to business, humanities, medicine, popular culture, science, social sciences, and technology.
