Patron Privacy Policy
It is the policy of Foley Center Library to respect the privacy of all users in compliance with federal and state laws and professional standards. The library will not reveal the identities of individual users or reveal what information sources or services they consult, unless compelled to do so by a government agency. This policy applies to all resources regardless of their format or means of delivery as well as to all services offered by the Library. Food, Drink, & Smoking
Tobacco products are not allowed in any part of the Foley Center in accordance with University-wide policy. Food is also not allowed in the library, with the exception of the Lounge on the first floor. Vending machines are available in the Lounge on the first floor, but food should remain in that area.
Drinks with lids, caps, or small openings are allowed in the library .
- Containers that are O.K.: sports bottles, commuter mugs, water bottles, soda cans and covered paper cups
- Containers that are not O.K.: paper cups, stay cups and open mugs
- No beverages in the classroom, computer lab, Special Collections, or near any public PC.
Board Room
Scheduling of the Board Room on the third floor is done in the Foley Center Administrative Offices,

Teleconferencing Room
Scheduling of the Teleconferencing Room on the first floor is done through Technology Education Services, (509) 313-3810
Faculty Carrels and Reading Area
A number of enclosed faculty study areas are available on the third floor of the Foley Center. These will be available for semester-long projects requiring extensive library use. Faculty may request the use of the studies. Applications are available from the Chair, Gonzaga Research Council.
