Telecommunications Insert

The goal of our project is to design an automated telecommunication insert placement process which includes developing a new insert for Randl Industries Inc. Telecommunication boxes. These inserts within the boxes allow for easy cable management and permit the use of larger cables that will be required for future developments.

Currently, the inserts are placed by hand, but as Randl increases production, these new designs will increase efficiency while reducing human interaction in their manufacturing line. The new insert design in simpler for future production and also allows for a more effective, as well as automated, insertion process. These advances will help Randl Industries build towards the imminent future of increased production in the telecommunication box market.
