The Freshmen Retreat (three per semester): For thirty to forty students each time, this Retreat is for the sake of establishing in the students' mind a clear sense of the key relationships that make Gonzaga University what it is.
The annual Pilgrimage (one per year): For up to two hundred students, this ten-mile hike has as its goal to bring together the new freshmen with members of the sophomore, junior and senior classes, as well as with members of the faculty and staff, on a pilgrimage through the Idaho wilderness to the Mission of the Sacred Heart at Cataldo, Idaho.
The Search Retreat (four per year): For forty students each time, this Retreat is the longest running Retreat in the University (since the 1960s) and is for sophomores, juniors, and seniors.
The Cardoner Retreat (four per year): For twenty to thirty upper division students, this Retreat takes students to the picturesque and historic town of Wallace Idaho for a weekend of relaxation and reflection on God's love in our lives.
The Seniors' Retreat (one per year): For thirty to forty senior students, this Retreat was put in place to offer to seniors a chance, just before they graduate, to reflect with their friends on all that has happened during their four years at Gonzaga, both joyful and sorrowful.
The Law Students' Retreat (one to two per year): For up to thirty students, this Retreat is aimed at students at the Law School, who in the midst of their demanding course of studies, do not want to lose sight of the deepest reasons why they have come to study the Law.
The Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius: Decision-Making for Leadership(one or two per year): For up to thirty students each time, this Retreat is aimed at the student who wants to learn how to make life-affecting decisions in accord with his or her ultimate purpose. Such decisions answer questions like: What am I for? What does it mean to do God's will? What job is the right one for me? Should I be married and to this particular person?In other words, it teaches students how to discover the will of God and to decide according to it.
