Software Application Development focuses on the skills and tools used to develop deployable, useful, and maintainable software. The process of creating software requires skills beyond just writing code. The Software Development concentration provides training in the process of building software products at all scales. This includes writing high quality code, how to leverage automated tools to build and test projects, user centered design, team communication, and leadership skills.
This minor is open to any student in a Gonzaga school or college except those majoring in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Data Science.
