A collaborative initiative between Gonzaga’s School of Engineering & Applied Science and the College of Arts & Sciences, the Center for Materials Research (CMR) drives interdisciplinary innovation in materials science and STEM workforce development across the Inland Northwest.
Center for Undergraduate Research & Creative Inquiry
CURCI empowers Gonzaga undergraduates across all disciplines to pursue original research and creative inquiry, offering funding, mentorship, and opportunities to present scholarly work. Center for Teaching and Advising
Consistent with Gonzaga’s Ignatian heritage, the Center for Teaching and Advising (CTA) advances a culture of reflective practice in teaching and advising at Gonzaga. Dance for Parkinsons
Through Dance for Parkinson’s, Gonzaga’s College of Arts & Sciences partners with the Northwest Parkinson’s Foundation to offer movement classes that promote physical well-being, creativity, and connection. Led by dance students, this program empowers participants to explore movement in a supportive environment while fostering community engagement and experiential learning.
Gonzaga Debate Institute
The Gonzaga Debate Institute offers high school students an immersive summer institute rooted in decades of excellence, building debate, research, and advocacy skills in a supportive, competitive environment on Gonzaga’s campus. High Bay Mural
CAS and SEAS unite for the High Bay Mural Contest—an interdisciplinary celebration of art, engineering, and Jesuit education. Students design a mural for Bollier 122’s civil engineering lab. CAS Affiliated Faculty: Jennifer Seo, M.F.A., Assistant Professor of Art.
Institute for Climate, Water, and the Environment
The Gonzaga Institute for Climate, Water, and the Environment supports students, faculty, and community leaders in the Inland Northwest as they address the urgent environmental challenges of the 21st century. The College of Arts & Sciences at Gonzaga University supports the Walking School Bus program, a student-led initiative that strengthens community ties, improves school attendance, and drives social change. The Zag Impact Dinner brings together Gonzaga’s School of Business and College of Arts & Sciences for an evening of community, conversation, and fundraising.
