Free Math Tutoring
The Department of Mathematics has had to suspend the Saturday Math Tutoring Program for 2020/2021 and most of the 2021-2022 academic years due to COVID-19.
Partnership with Spokane Public Schools and Other Spokane-Area Resources
We are partnering with Spokane Public Schools to offer volunteer opportunities for our students to provide tutoring services for high-school students. Please visit the North Central High School website to see details for their Virtual Homework Center.
There is also a partnership between Gonzaga University and Priority Spokane that works to offer tutoring to K-12 students demonstrating financial need (students receiving free or reduced lunch or household income under $45K) within Spokane County.
A third Spokane-community effort is offered through the Spokane Public Library District that offers live online tutoring called Brainfuse (library card required).
We have also recently learned about a free tutoring service for K-12 students called MasteryHour.org that offers services in both English and Spanish. It is an on-demand free tutoring resource led by volunteer students from top colleges and universities who are fully screened to ensure the most positive and safe experience.
Other Gonzaga-Sponsored Youth Programs
You can also visit Gonzaga's Camus Kids page to see if their services might work for your elementary and middle-school students and the Sparks High School Mentoring program for high-school students.
