Florence Scholars
Join a cohort of students who prepare academically and culturally to study at Gonzaga in Florence, with a scholarship for their term abroad.
What You'll Do
- Complete ITAL 101 Elementary Italian I and ITAL 102 Elementary Italian II. This fulfills the foreign language requirement for those with a major in the College of Arts and Sciences
- Students study ITAL 101 during fall of their 1st year with other cohort members
- Welcome event: meet other cohort members and Florence Scholars
- Academic lectures
- Pasta making
- Play bocce, cards, and other Italian cultural activities
