Our M.Ed. in Special Education with a BCBA emphasis combines theory with practice to create well-trained graduates who are prepared to lead.
Our program develops students to become a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
What our program offers:
- A Master's Degree in Special Education
- Required courses need to become a BCBA (verified course sequence only)
- Pathway to serve individuals with a variety of needs
Program outcomes:
- Perform functional behavior assessment (a requirement of IDEA Law)
- Develop and conduct applied research projects
- Find work in many professional settings, including (but not limited to) schools, community agencies, and private practice
- Offer consulting services to schools and other service agencies serving persons with disabilities
