Intramurals

Welcome to the Intramural Sports Homepage! The Intramural Sports Program is one of the most popular attractions on campus with over 2,500 students participating annually equaling over 62% of the student population. The Intramural Sports staff is here to serve you and to do everything possible to make sure that your experience is a positive one.

We offer 20 sports and events with a variety of different team and individual activities for students, faculty, and staff to participate in. From team sports such as basketball, soccer, softball and volleyball to individual sports such as a Swim Meet, March Madness and Homerun Derby. There is something for everyone! This participation allows for growth throughout the campus community as well as personal achievement.

Sportsmanship is a vital part of Intramural contest. The Intramural Sports Program demands desirable attitudes, good sportsmanship, and a high standard of cooperation as an integral piece of Gonzaga University's mission. Officials, professional staff, teammates, and opponents all deserve each others' respect and courteous behavior. Players must recognize that these are not varsity sports and there are no professional coaches or officials. Intramural games will be what participants make of them and you will get out as much as you put in. Play to win, but have fun and play fair!

And remember, to gain access to any Intramural Sports program you must present a valid GU ID! No excuses…no ID, no play!
