PsycInfo - Published by the APA contains over two million citations and summaries of scholarly journal articles, book chapters, books and dissertations, all in the field of psychology, dating as far back as 1840. More information

SocINDEX with Full Text - Comprehensive index to sociology publications, including full-text access to many journals. More information

Web of Knowledge - A multidisciplinary citation index to the journal literature of the sciences and social sciences which indexes over 6,650 major journals across 150 scientific disciplines and 1,950 journals across 50 social sciences disciplines. In addition to indexing it includes all cited references captured from indexed articles.

Dissertations

Dissertations - Provides options for access to Gonzaga University theses and dissertations online, as well as options
for finding theses & dissertations from other universities, as well as how to order a hard copy or use Interlibrary Loan.

Dissertations and Theses: The Humanities and Social Sciences Collection (1637-present) - This database covers the humanities and social sciences and includes more than 1 million theses and dissertations with abstracts, 24-page previews, and full-text PDF, if available, for dissertations from other universities dating back to 1637.

Statistical Sources
Use these to gather relevant statistics and other numerical data on your topic. Statistics can be useful in proving the importance of a chosen issue or in justifying a hypotheses or viewpoint on an issue.

LexisNexis Statistical DataSets - Provides statistical data from licensed and public domain datasets, including national and international data for agriculture, education, criminal justice, energy, natural resources, labor, economic indicators, transportation,  vital statistics, etc.  Options to scan over 500 datasets, select subjects and variables of interest, and view the data in side-by-side tables and charts.
