Some issues that affect everyone:
What If I Need to Keep Something Longer? Most material checked out of the Foley Center collection, can be renewed up to eight times as long as another person has not requested the material. Exception: Popular books may be renewed only twice. Material may be renewed by phone, on line or in person at the Circulation Desk. Material does not need to be presented in order to renew it. The renewal period is equivalent to the original checkout period. For example, a video can be renewed for an additional seven days, up to eight times. To renew a book go to the patron option in the library catalog. To renew by phone, call 313-5803--you will be asked for your 8 digit Gonzaga ID number. Renew before the due date to avoid late fines!
Blocked Privileges: Your library borrowing privileges are blocked when you have accumulated $20 or more in late fees or have not returned an item 60 days past the due date. You will also be blocked if you have one item that has been recalled and is overdue. Borrowing privileges can be restored by returning late items; paying accumulated fines or replacement costs for lost items.
Damaged Material: Damage fees will be assessed to your account for items returned damaged, to the extent that repair or replacement is needed.
COURSE RESERVES: Reserve materials meet the needs of faculty wishing to make items requiring short-term use available to their students. Reserve readings are located at the Circulation Desk and can be checked out by anyone presenting a valid ID card. Reserve readings cannot be renewed.Lists of materials on reserve can be accessed through the online catalog.
