Right now, ASCE has a committee of members doing a feasibility study for a local business owner who is interested in putting in a rooftop garden on his business (aka a "Green Roof"). The study should be completed this spring, and depending on the results, they may be involved in the design and construction of the roof as well.
This spring, the Club will be visiting several construction project sites, and will participate in the Battle of the Sexes FE Exam Review games in partnership with SWE.
ASCE also sends their new officers to the Workshop for Student Chapter Leaders, a two-day conference hosted by ASCE for all Student Chapter leaders in the western USA, Canada, and Alaska.
