Welcome to the student teaching program in the School of Education! We offer the opportunity for students to implement the skills they've learned and add new experiences to their repertoire. Being a Student Teacher will prepare one as an educator, and strengthen the passion for teaching.
Student teachers are in undergraduate, MIT, post baccalaureate, and BGS programs here at the School of Education. Student teaching is a requirement for anyone seeking certification as a teacher in elementary or secondary education. Students receive their residency certification as the first step toward professional certification.
