I began my career in special education in India where I worked in a residential school for children with disabilities. My areas of interest include behavior disorders and feeding disorders. My area of expertise is in functional analysis and food refusal in young children. I graduated from the University of Iowa in 2001 with a Ph.D. in Special Education.

I earned my AA Degree from Spokane Falls Community College, Bachelor's Degree from Eastern Washington University, and my Doctor's Degree from the University of Iowa. Prior to coming to Gonzaga, I worked at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD.

Earned Ph.D. in Developmental and Child Psychology, Univ. of Kansas, MS in Psychology, Eastern Washington University, B. Ed. in Elementary Education, Eastern Washington University.

Professor & Chairperson. I've been working at Gonzaga University since 1998. My research and clinic interests include language development for children with limited verbal skills, effective reading strategies, functional behavior assessment, and classroom management.
