Principal Certification Tracks
Designed for educators interested in pursuing a Washington State Principal Certificate.
Track A: Currently hold a Master's Degree
Track B: Wish to complete a Master's Degree along with the principal certification (cohort model)
Track A Outline
- A 540-clock hour administrative internship.
- Participation and completion of the On-line Leadership Role Seminar.
- Current practices in the field
- Internship submitted by university faculty
Program Administrator Certification
Intended for individuals who have had an extensive background in the field of education such as: Human Resources, Finance/Budget, and other related job history may apply for the program administrator certification.
Track A: Currently hold a Master's Degree
Track B: Wish to complete a Master's Degree along with the program administrator certification (cohort model)
Track A Outline
The program administrator will follow the same criteria as the principal certification except for the internship component which may be job embedded with the process, products, and activities aligned to the candidates current position.
