PewGo

Gonzaga's most recognized vehicle began as a donated pew sitting inside the Manufacturing Technology Center (MTC). One 1983 golf cart and many hours of student labor later, the PewGo made its campus debut in spring 2015.

The PewGo is frequently found at Herak's southeast corner outside the MTC's exterior door catching some rays. A solar power panel replaced the fiberglass roof in summer 2017 as part of an overhaul begun by a senior design project.

The Society of Automotive Engineers members spend most of their time in the Manufacturing Technology Center, especially during spring semester. This is where they fabricate the Baja Car for each year's SAE Baja competition.
