Harman Khare is an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Gonzaga University. His background and research interests are in the area of tribology and surface science, with an emphasis on developing tribological materials and multiscale tools for experimental tribometry. At Gonzaga, he leads undergraduate research in the GU Tribology Research Laboratory and teaches courses in materials and manufacturing. Before joining the faculty at Gonzaga, he was a Postdoctoral Associate and later Manager of Research Projects in the Carpick Nanotribology Group at University of Pennsylvania. Harman is an alumnus of the University of Delaware’s Materials Tribology Laboratory.
