What is Trek?

Treks are career development and networking programs that create opportunities for students to connect with alumni and employers in key metropolitan areas across the country. During the Treks, students interact with partner organizations through corporate excursions, career fairs, and networking socials.

Where do the Treks take place?

Treks are offered in New York, London, Silicon Valley, San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, Spokane, Los Angeles, and Denver. Most are offered every year, with Los Angeles and Denver in alternating years each June.

What are the student benefits of attending a Trek?

There are many reasons for a student to attend a Trek, and we welcome all degree levels and class years to attend. On a Trek, students explore the city environment, and test out their preference for a geographic area. Students can also explore specific organizations through the excursions or learn about what a similar company in that industry might be like. There are lots of opportunities to chat with recruiters, alumni, and employees of specific organizations. Not only do Treks help students build their networks, but they also offer opportunities to practice important conversational skills.
