The Unity Scholars Program is for WA state residents applying for first-year admission who have demonstrated a commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.

Spirit rose out of Charette, a campuswide conversation former Father President Robert Spitzer, S.J., directed to derive solutions to common problems. One of those problems identified by faculty and staff was lack of communications between units on campus. A look back on how Spirit has raised morale and informed employees over the past 25 years.

The new Unity Scholars program invites lower-income Washington state students committed to social justice, cultural awareness and leadership to apply for membership in a four-year cohort supported by an array of campus offices, and paid for through scholarships and grants that cover the cost of all tuition, fees, housing and meal plan charges for four years.
