The department offers one major and one minor:
- Bachelor of Arts, Religious Studies major (required concentration in either Christian Theology or Religious Pluralism)
- Minor in Religious Studies

- Majors who want to delve deeper into the history, beliefs and practices of Christianity should choose the Christian Theology concentration.
- Other majors, seeking a more comparative approach in the study of religion, should choose the Religious Pluralism concentration.
Religious Studies/Law 3+3 Program
The Religious Studies Department also offers a 3+3 dual-degree program with the Gonzaga School of Law. This program consists of three years in the undergraduate major and entrance to the Law School in the fourth year, resulting in a B.A. with a major in Religious Studies and a J.D. from the Gonzaga University School of Law in six years rather than seven.
