Degree: B.A. in Public Relations
The Public Relations major will:
- Be able to demonstrate competence in communication theories through a public relations lens, and in writing and critical thinking skills relevant to contemporary public relations practice.
- Understand and be adept at articulating the uses of public relations practices to further social justice efforts.
- Understand the boundaries and protections of media law and the guidelines for ethical public relations behaviors, and engage in public relations practices that transcend minimum industry standards.
