Agnieszka McPeak is the Frederick N. and Barbara T. Curley Professor of Commercial Law and Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Program Innovation at Gonzaga University School of Law. During Summer 2026, she also serves as Acting Dean of Gonzaga Law.
Before joining the Gonzaga Law faculty in 2020, Dean McPeak taught at the University of Toledo College of Law and Duquesne University School of Law. She began her academic career at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law as a Westerfield Fellow.
Dean McPeak’s research and scholarship focus on the intersection of law and technology, particularly artificial intelligence, social media, ethics, privacy, and the sharing economy. Her work has appeared in leading journals, including UC Davis Law Review, Wisconsin Law Review, Wake Forest Law Review, Connecticut Law Review, and Arizona State Law Journal. Her scholarship has also been cited by federal district courts in California, New York, and Washington, D.C., as well as the highest courts of Indiana and New York.
A recognized voice on emerging legal issues, Dean McPeak has been quoted by national and regional media outlets, including The New York Times, Bloomberg Law, Reuters, BuzzFeed, and The Spokesman-Review.
Before entering academia, Dean McPeak practiced complex commercial litigation in New Orleans. Prior to law school, she negotiated translation rights for a computer book publisher in Alameda, California.
