Dr. Zhang's research interests are focused in the realm of Control Systems, including linear control, nonlinear control, distributed control and estimation (DCE), multi-agent systems and their applications. She has authored 1 book chapter, 7 peer-reviewed journal papers, and 17 peer-reviewed conference papers. She is right now co-authoring a book. She is a frequent reviewer for top IEEE journals and conferences. She says she is glad to support the University’s mission to develop the whole person - intellectually, spiritually, culturally, physically, and emotionally. Community service and engaging with students inside and outside the classroom are her primary goals.
