Todd A. Finkle, Ph.D. Todd has been an entrepreneur of 5 for profit ventures and co-founded a non-profit, which won a national teaching award. He has taught for over 30 years at 4 different universities where he has published a combination of over 250 articles, books, presentations, and grants. He is currently finishing his third book that focuses on Warren Buffett and Berkshire Hathaway. Todd has been fortunate enough to have built a relationship with Buffett by taking 7 different groups of students to visit him at his Corporate Headquarters and his Annual Shareholder Meeting.  

Todd is currently the Pigott Professor of Entrepreneurship at Gonzaga University. He is part of the team at Gonzaga, that is currently ranked the 37th best undergraduate Entrepreneurship Program in the 2020 U.S. News & World Report Entrepreneurship Rankings. This is the second school he has been part of that has been nationally ranked for entrepreneurship education.

He earned an M.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. To finance his way through school, he founded an entertainment company where he worked full-time while going to school full-time. Todd then went on to earn a Ph.D. in Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship with Minors in Marketing, International Business and Organizational Behavior from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Todd has consulted with a wide variety of entities including countries and universities from all over the world, Fortune 500 companies, small businesses, franchises, family businesses, and non-profits. His research has primarily focused on entrepreneurship education, entrepreneurial finance (financing and valuation), technology entrepreneurship, creativity, and innovation.
