Certification

The Certification Office assists all students, undergraduate, graduate, and alumni, with their educational certification needs prior to and after initial certification. All Certification programs in the School of Education are accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education. The Washington state Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction recognizes Gonzaga's approved programs for the preparation of teachers , counselors (ESA), principals, program administrators, and superintendents.

Certification programs may be combined with master's degree programs where applicable. Stand-alone certification programs are also available provided the candidate has achieved the appropriate degree requirements needed.
