Dual Degree
Gonzaga offers you the option of pursuing both your Master’s in Organizational Leadership (ORGL) and your Master’s in Communication and Leadership (COML).
Our dual degree pathway is for anyone who wants to gain more expertise in both leadership and communication while saving time and money.

Dual Degree Requirements
- Apply and be accepted to both programs.
- You must enroll in one program first and then you can enroll in the other program in a following semester, e.g. ORGL in Fall, COML in Spring, ORGL in Summer, COML in Fall, etc.
- You must apply for graduation from both ORGL and COML at the same time as both degrees must have the same degree granting date.
Program Details
- 48 Credits
- 21 Core Credits
- 27 Elective Credits - you can choose classes from either ORGL or COML.
Core Classes - 21 Credits
4 Required Courses - 12 Credits - No Choice
- ORGL 600, ORGL 615
- COML 595, COML 598
3 Required Courses - 9 Credits - Choice
You will chose one course from each of the following three pairs of core classes.
- ORGL 605 or COML 599
- ORGL 610 or COML 597
- ORGL 620 or COML 602
For example, you could choose: ORGL 605, COML 597 and COML 602.
You cannot combine classes from each pair listed above for your core requirements, meaning you could not choose ORGL 610 and COML 597.
Accelerated Master's Degree
Gonzaga University undergraduates have the option to start their master's degree during their senior year.
Gonzaga students can complete both their undergraduate and graduate degrees in as little as five years with our accelerated master's program.
You can take master's level courses in you final year at undergraduate tuition rates.
You can then complete your master's in one-year or since our program is offered online, work full time and go to school.
This streamlined pathway is available to all undergraduates in any major.
