The Gonzaga mission statement brought me out west from Ontario, Canada where I was a school principal. I knew that I wanted to affect change in education at the undergrad and graduate level with people who are passionate about supporting student learning. I wanted a platform to teach and research with amazing faculty, a community passionate about improvement, and in a beautiful state and city. I hope I bring my relevant and practical school leadership experiences along with my fun personality to the team. I hope I can model my love of lifelong learning for my students and colleagues while growing my knowledge of higher education. When I was growing up, I explored the option of becoming a radiologist for a long time. I even toured hospitals and college programs, learned about MRIs, and spent time with a radiologist mentor. My parents had another idea for my profession: teaching. I always listen to my parents.
