Theatre and Dance

Have a passion? Explore, create and perform at Gonzaga!

Theatre and dance students critically reflect on a broad range of literature, theatrical forms and techniques in order to promote an active engagement with the with foundations of our culture and to promote character formation that reflects the faith and justice mission of Gonzaga Unversity.  We intend for our study and reflection to provide service to an audience, promote social justice and to prepare for a career in the perfoming arts.

We seek to collaborate across academic disciplines and with our local community in creating and producing works that tell the stories that expand our understanding and challenge our assumptions regarding the human condition.  Our Jesuit values compel us to find delight in the varieties of the human experience and seek ways to challenge as well as to entertain through our words and actions on stage.

Artists hoping to apply disciplined training and thoughtful work in pursuit of these goals are encouraged to complete a major or minor in Theatre or a minor in Dance here at Gonzaga.
