Mary is a principal at Berntson Porter & Company, PLLC and is the Director of Assurance Services. In addition, Mary oversees and manages quality control, professional training and internal systems within the firm. Mary is also a key operations point person within the firm and has led the implantation of several strategic, firm wide initiatives. These initiatives include GoFileRoom and Prosystem fx Engagement software conversions.
Seattle Office Tax Managing Partner
Deloitte Tax LLP
Jeff became the Office Tax Managing Partner for Seattle in 2013. In his role, Jeff oversees the Seattle operations, talent, and marketplace activities for the Deloitte tax practice. In addition, Jeff oversees the operations and talent activities for the Portland and Boise tax practices.
Moss Adams LLP
Tammy has been in public accounting since 1993 and is a leader in Moss Adams' government, higher education, not-for-profit, and health care practices. She specializes in providing accounting, auditing, and consulting services to higher education, quasi-governmental, health care, and other not-for-profit organizations. She coordinates and supervises audits, provides consultation related to internal controls, and provides continuing education classes internally as well as externally to various organizations.

David has over 33 years of experience in public accounting serving individuals on tax matters including estate and gift tax planning, retirement planning, charitable giving strategies, income tax minimization, stock option planning and taxation of fiduciaries.

Rob’s main focuses include real estate, professional partnerships and LLC's, along with their uses in estate planning. Rob also has extensive experience regarding inbound international tax issues.

Meredith advises clients on various multistate tax matters including: reorganizing/restructuring, income tax provisions, revenue sourcing, due diligence/acquisition planning, controversies and compliance matters. Meredith consults with companies representing a wide variety of industries including technology, retail and manufacturing. Her primary area of concentration is state income and franchise taxes, but also assists clients with issues involving sales, use and business activity taxes.

Chris is a top-performing accounting and finance professional with progressive career growth, over 16 years of experience with Big Four public accounting firms, and 2 years of experience working internationally. Chris consistently proves to be successful in fast-paced environments and is recognized for his excellent technical, supervisory, project management, and client service skills.
Kevin is a tax specialist with over 30 years of experience working with businesses and high net worth individuals to minimize income and estate taxes. He is active in the community, serving on several not-for-profit boards, and is the past President of the Spokane Estate Planning Council.

Thomas is the Shareholder in charge of the Audit and Accounting Department at Clark Nuber. He specializes in privately held businesses and not-for-profit organizations. Thomas’ services include: audits, reviews, and business consulting projects.

Dr. Hoag is an alumnus of Gonzaga University’s accounting program. After graduation, he worked for three years as an audit associate/senior in KPMG’s Seattle office with clients in a range of industries including healthcare, technology, higher education and manufacturing.
Dr. Hoag is excited to be teaching at his alma mater and is passionate about advising and mentoring students to empower their success. He integrates current business events, corporate governance theory, and ethical issues in course lessons and assignments to encourage students to recognize the importance of the big picture. Dr. Hoag is also an avid Gonzaga basketball fan.
