Degree: B.A. in Broadcast and Electronic Media Studies
The Broadcast and Electronic Media Studies major will:
- Understand the technology and develop the skills required to produce content in a deadline environment for digital platforms.
- Be adept at articulating the historical context of broadcast media development.
- Understand the boundaries and protections of media law and the guidelines for ethical journalistic behaviors, and engage in journalistic practices that transcend minimum industry standards.
- Understand and demonstrate the ways that the digital media can be used to improve the human condition.
