Weaving Our Sister's Voices
Written by Linda Schearing, Ph.D and Musical Score by Robert Spittal, DMA
Directed & Choreographed by Suzanne Ostersmith, MFA
October 9-18, 2015
Weaving Our Sister's Voices celebrates the stories of women both named and unnamed in the Old Testament through poetry, music and dance. The play celebrates the ways in which women support one another and give meaning to their lives. Through retelling and reimagining, Scripture stories are given a fresh perspective and made relevant to contemporary issues.
Weaving Our Sister's Voices was originally created in 2006 and last seen on the GU stage in 2010. The collaborative team of Schearing, Spittall and Ostersmith have revamped and added to the production. You won't want to miss what's still amazing and what's new!
