Dr. Parker teaches art history courses on a range of topics, including women artists, modern and contemporary art, and the history of photography.  A scholar of modern art (late 18th-20th c.), she has published articles on nineteenth-century French painting in French Cultural Studies and the SECAC Review.  She recently completed a book manuscript on the late nineteenth-century French painter Fernand Cormon.

Professor of Art, Professor Emeritus

Gieber remains on the Study Abroad faculty for the Art Department.  A Master of Art degree and the terminal MFA degree in the Fine Arts was received from the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa in 1983, with studio emphasis in ceramics and drawing and a concentration in art history.  Gieber currently has two commercial art galleries featuring his work in Coeur d'Alene, ID; and one site in Oregon.  Studio work has been presented in more than 150 Exhibitions throughout the United States since coming to Gonzaga in 1983.  Corporate collections include H&R Block, Aquila Energy Corporation, Firestone, Blue Cross-Blue Shield, Utilicorp United, West One Bank, IFTC, American Investors Financial, and several others.  Visit his website at http://www.gieber.com
