Our pool of applicants grows increasingly larger every summer, which is very exciting for us, but unfortunately, this means that we are forced to turn away many more qualified students than we can accept, especially at the elementary level, where we can enroll only one out of every five applicants. This year, if you/your child is not accepted, or if you/your child would like to further their learning of Chinese after completing the camp session, we would like to encourage you to consider exploring other options to learn Chinese for your child in Spokane. For high school students, the Spokane Virtual Learning program (http://spokanevirtual.com) now offers Chinese; serving all ages of students, the Spokane Chinese School (www.spokanechinese.org) meets on Gonzaga campus on Saturdays during the school year. Chinese courses are also offered through the Chinese Culture House (http://www.chineseculturehouse.com/).
