Gonzaga University welcomes 45 new professors from the College of Arts and Sciences and six professional schools for the 2022 academic year. With a diverse array of expertise, these faculty will offer new perspectives to Gonzaga to enhance the student learning experience.

Gonzaga University and Whitworth University have launched a first-of-its-kind initiative to offer Whitworth business majors an accelerated route to two master's degree programs.

Sara Kern, professor of accounting in the Gonzaga University School of Business Administration, has been appointed associate dean of Gonzaga's undergraduate business programs effective July 16. Molly Pepper, who has directed the programs since 2012, will return to full-time teaching as a professor of management.

The MBA Student of the Year award and the MBA in American Indian Entrepreneurship (MBA in AIE) Student of the Year are voted on by MBA and MBA in AIE faculty respectively and recognize student excellence in academic achievement, leadership and service to those within and outside of the Gonzaga community. This year's winners are Natalya Terry (MBA Student of the Year), and the MBA in AIE Student of the year award was conferred on Margaret (Meg) Miller and Isabel (Izzy) Yasana Hawley.

For 20 years Dr. Beqiri has taught in the MBA program, and has been the MBA Programs Director for the past four years. She is this year's recipient of both the MBA Faculty of the Year Award and the MBA in American Indian Entrepreneurship Faculty of the year Award.

A freshly minted Gonzaga University graduate is focused on improving life for ADHD and autistic adults and has earned the financial backing to pursue his vision.
